Top 10 Under £10 | Cruelty Free Beauty

We all love a high end treat but drugstore make up is where my heart lies. When you pay £35 for a foundation or blusher you expect it to be close to perfection (I certainly do - hence my reluctance to splash out too often).

I find searching the shelves in Superdrug and finding an amazing product for a couple of quid just so addictive. Throw in being limited to a handful of cruelty free brands accessible on the UK highstreet and you have a real challenge!

There are so many gems cruelty free gems that you can snap up for next to nothing, so I thought I'd share my top ten with you. (In no particular order).

Soap & Glory Brow Archery // £9
Just wow. I have tried so many drugstore brow products, some great and some... Let's not even talk about those guys, but this is my number one. 4EVA BBZ. The twist up pencil means no snapping (yay) and it's super fine with a great formula and a fabulous spooly. If you're looking for a new brow product, put this on your list.

Soap & Glory Brow Archery and Supercat Liner

Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen // £6
A more recent discovery of mine. Bitches got to have dem wings ya know. This felt pen type eyeliner gives a super black, precise line and is still as black as "inky" as the day I bought it. I can't see myself ever buying another eyeliner pen. This is the one.

Make Up Revolution Salvation Velvet Lacquer
Velvet Rebel (top) and Keep Lying For You (bottom)
Make Up Revolution Salvation Intense Lip Lacquer // £3
Liquid lipsticks are really having a moment in the beauty world, and I, for one, completely bought into the hype. I bloody love them. These particular lipsticks are an absolute steal for £3 - the colours are excellent and the formulas are pretty good too, giving a very long lasting, bright, matte finish!

Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow
Shade 06
Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow // £6.90
"Long lasting" couldn't be more true! The colour pay off is phenomenal - one swipe gives such intensely pigmented colour and it blends beautifully. For a quick application or for people who quite simply can't be arsed for all the fuss and brushes involved in creating fancy looks, these are ideal. I can't wait to get my hands on more shades. I also love wearing it in the waterline and it completely does not budge.

GOSH X-Ceptional Wear Foundation // £7.99
I'm not one for full, heavy coverage so this is perfect for me. It gives a buildable medium coverage with a semi matte finish and is the best colour match for me that I have ever found! I always come back to it as the staying power is great and the finish is perfect for me, all year round. I will 100% continue to buy this as my favourite medium coverage foundation. See this haul for pictures and more thoughts.

Models Own Favourite Nail Polishes
L-R Emerald Green, Heather, Crystal Pink, Robin Red, Chrome Copper, White Light

Models Own Nail Varnish // £5
Okay so maaaybe I'm a bit biased as I work there but these are my favourite cruelty free nail varnishes, even if only for the incredible range of colours, glitters and finishes! If you follow me on Instagram you'll have seen some of my favourite looks with these polishes! They are 14ml which is considerably more than other drugstore brands so worth an extra pound or two, I think,

Milani Baked Blush in Corallina

Milani Baked Blush // £6
This is the most beautiful blusher ever - I love the look of the pretty swirly pattern in all the gorgeous colours. Baked products usually get a big thumbs up from me and this is no exception. Despite some shades (Corallina, for example) looking quite bright, it is more subtle once applied but, conversely, you don't need to spend forever building up a decent amont of colour.

H&M Single Eyeshadow Favourites
Clockwise - Sahara Dawn, Moss it Over, Cocoa Mauve

H&M Single Eye Shadow // £5
A recent addition to my collection but now I am fully addicted. I have five gorgeous shades and tI love them all. There are so many to choose from, they apply and blend easily with great pigmentation and little fall out which is not what I was expected from the range at all!

Sleek Face Contour Kit // £6.99
My Holy Grail - this was the first contour kit I ever used and despite trying other powders and formulas, I always go back to this one. The contour shade is perfectly cool toned and not to dark for my hella pale skin, it also blends out easily if you go a bit heavy handed so it would be good for beginners. The highlighter is also great and a little goes a long way! Sorry there's no picture of this but it is a hot mess as I use it so much.

17 Falsifeye HD Mascara // £6.99
I don't think this mascara gets half the hype it deserves, I really love it. It's not just amazing "for the price" it is just great full stop. I actually think it gives the same look as the benefit They're Real mascara on my lashes but with a far more reasonable price tag and no animals harmed in the process! (Hauled here)

  1. Oh my gosh I love everything *deep breaths*
Kiko products look SO amazing and I'm definitely going to have a little (big) shop in there after Christmas.
Soap & Glory are just fab aren't they? I'm not keen on the Archery brow product but I've heard so many good things about the eyeliner, I must try.

Fab photos & post, your passion for finding cruelty free products really shows! x

  4. I absolutely love Supercat, it's my favourite liquid liner I've ever used. I've actually included it in one of my blog posts this month. I've never tried the brow archery, but after reading this post, I may have to. I've also wanted to try Kiko for ages now but I still haven't got round to doing so..

  6. Oh my goodness you basically mentioned all of my favourites here! The Milani baked blush has been a favourite of mine before I even went cruelty free and I am so, so in love with the Gosh foundation. + Velvet Rebel is the shade I've wore pretty much all autumn and winter so far! I really love that there's more cruelty free options in the drugstore now, it makes shopping so much easier haha.
